Somebody posted that Ty Wheatley be brought back as the OC next year and here was a good response: No way. How many more mistakes do we need to make? How many more coaches who are completely over their heads do we need to hire? How many more "Michigan Men" need to be brought back and fail miserably before we wake the f*** up? Oh wait. I forgot who I'm dealing with here. Yes, I'm certain Wheatley will be the next OC. Makes total Michigan sense.

That's been floating around for weeks, and seems unlikely at best. Maybe as RB coach if Fred Jackson was to retire, but they're not going to give a guy with no experience that job. If Hoke's pushed into firing Borges, and that's not even guaranteed, he knows his job is hanging on bringing in somebody that can turn things around fast. The fat man is officially on the hotseat barring an honest to God miracle next Saturday. If they don't show significant improvement next year, I think they shitcan him. His records are heading in the opposite direction from dickrod's, and dickrod was run out of town on a rail after year three year.

Hoke is a slightly less portly Weis at this point. If they drop their last 2 (which seems fairly likely at this point), he's 11-2, 8-5, 7-6 = 26-13. That's not far off from Weis. Like Weis, he had a successful first year, and has gotten significantly worse each year. Like Weis, he's reeled in big recruiting classes who talk a lot, and don't produce.
