Fan blames Michigan, OC Al Borges for drunk-driving charge

According to the Dearborn Press & Guide, a 25-year-old man was arrested on a drunk-driving charge very early in the morning of Nov. 3. The man was found asleep/passed out in his vehicle by police officers and was ultimately determined to have a BAC of .24, which the paper notes is “above the state’s .17 super-drunk standard”

The man, who acknowledged to police that he was drunk and had urinated on himself — another super-drunk standard, I believe — was very candid with police as to what led to his binge:

While he was being booked, he said he drank so much because he was upset that the University of Michigan’s football team lost 29-6 at Michigan State University the day before. He said he also was upset with the play-calling of Offensive Coordinator Al Borges, whose Wolverines rushed for a negative-48 yards, the worst ground performance since the school started playing football in 1879.

Possibly he was better than Bosa in the spring (not saying he was, but possibly). Then tOSU's staff got had an opportunity to work with Bosa, and the tsun staff worked with Taco. Which staff would you rather play for?

It's also possible they saw way more potential in Bosa and saw Taco hitting the limit in his potential

The reasons OSU passed on Taco are well documented in his thread.

Hoke also pulled the ol' "disrespected" card on him and it worked exceedingly well, which drops kids way down in my book.

I'm not really that high on him... I've seen him a few times and he's just been OK. With the haul on the DL the last two years I'd only take top-flight kids next year, personally, and I don't think Taco is "top-flight". Just my opinion.

I got the chance to see him in a HS basketball game recently. Certainly looks the part of a B1G caliber football player. However, I chatted with a few Pickerington fans who expressed some concern about his actual ability. They said he hasn't really done much as far as statistics go. They said he hasn't really been much of a force that you would expect a kid like that to be. On the basketball court, I was kind of surprised by his lack of hand-eye coordination. I'll be kind of surprised if he ends up with an OSU offer based on that, as well as other issues.

This award goes to the player who lowered his stock the most from the camp. While Pickerington (Ohio) Central defensive end Taco Charlton looks the part, he really struggled. He has great size, long arms and he is very athletic. However, he is also very upright, only has an outside move and when coaches tried to teach him misdirection or crossover, he didn't grasp it well at all. He was beaten on almost every 1-on-1 rep he took.
