Everyone's favorite quarterback, Steve Bellisari, was suspended 2 games for DUI. Maybe technically it was only 1 game, as he was allowed back on the team for the M*ch*gan game that year, but he was brought back as the 3rd string QB. And I think the only reason he came back for the bowl game is that Tressel said something about how the bowl game was something special, and didn't want to take that away from him.

And he actually ended up serving 2.5 games of suspension, as he missed Senior Day against Illinois, the road game at Michigan, and the first half of the Ryan F. Brewer Bowl against USCe.

Huh, so it was. I would've sworn that Brewer was in the game where OSU cameback from 28 to tie, only to lose on the FG at the end. My bad.

Fitz, the recipe to beat Sparty is to avoid giving you many carries.
Forget that they've won four of the last five. Your tentative running and sad excuse for blocking has fans asking whether the out of shape, goes down on first contact true freshman should be starting instead of you.

Hoke is 6-8 on the road at Michigan with six loss Illinois as his best win. He is 10-30 as an underdog on the road.

Michigan narrowly eked out a win last year at home to avoid a fifth straight loss to Sparty.

Devin Gardner has turned it over constantly this season while Sparty has scored five touchdowns on defense alone.

Hubris is a very bad defense mechanism.

...but it's funny as shit to watch an enemy use it as such.
