2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

Some people ask me why do I go to Mgo. Besides to see how delusional M*chigan fans are, the place is hilarious(most of the time it's unintentional).

Meyer may be a great coach and Saban may be a great coach, but if it was my kid, I would consider the Michigan coach the best coach in the country at the best school in the country.

I'm not so sure Jim Harbaugh would step in and have wild success at Michigan like everyone expects he would. Sure, he stepped in and made the 49ers a force to be reckoned with, but that's the NFL.

Jim would have been TSUN's Tressel. Not flashy but one of the best fundamental coaches in the game. Would he have consistently beat Meyer led teams? I have no idea...but under him TSUN would have consistently had 10-11 win seasons.

The more I'm reading the meltdown on MSU boards, the more I'm thinking we need a "The B1G is butthurt" thread featuring meltdown posts from all of the B1G teams message boards. .

This. This particular garbage dump is for the AA trash.

I know. I would have started a new thread, but it likely would have just gotten buried in a few hours. Plus, it's fun clustering MSU fans with M*ch*g*n fans, and I'm sure they love it too.

Don't let anger get in the way of your post, little guy.

Message-Board-Guy notwithstanding, the reaction to recent events in West M*ch*g*n is better than you might think.

On the local sports radio station, the talking head spent 20 minutes talking about how it was in a kid's best interest to consider "the prettiest girl in the conference". Most of his callers agreed with him. Most of his callers are MSU fans, like he is. The real vitriol came from the Walmart Wolverines who called in.

Their tears are especially delicious when they think Buckeye fans aren't listening.

I give to you....the scUM fan reaction to Treadwell to Ole Miss

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=162&f=2019&t=11188511&p=1

Good luck to him. I hope he enjoys playing in obscurity for a SEC West doormat.

He isnt the smartest kid

Treadwell was always a "me" first guy, never a team player. Not someone who will lead a team but one who will be more concerned about personal stats. Not a loss at all.

I think it's oversimplified to say the kid made a stupid move. A lot of factors were in play (girls, cash, academics, etc) potentially and I think he just said he would do what was best for his "future I think he actually made a good choice. At OLE MISS he will be BMOC from day 1, not the case in AA. It just sucks for us of course.

I couldn't think of where else to put this.. so.. here....

I might have these dates off, but let's pretend they're right. Ohio State hired Jim Tressel in January, 2001. Since that time, I count 21 wins and 6 losses for Ohio State against Michigan in basketball, and 10 wins and 2 losses for Ohio State against Michigan in football. Since Ohio State still has another game against Michigan in basketball this year, that's 12.5 basketball seasons since Tressel was hired. 27 games in 12.5 seasons comes out to an average of 2.16 basketball games against Michigan a year.

So here's what I did: multiply the number of football wins and losses by that 2.16, so that football and basketball are "equal". In that time, Ohio State has 42.60 wins and 10.32 losses against Michigan. Again, that's counting each football game as 2.16 games. The winning percentage against Michigan, in that time, is 0.805. Take that, Dominance!!

Then I did the same thing for the time period from the hiring of Thad Matta to now:
Football - Ohio State has 9 wins, and 1 loss.
Basketball - Ohio State has 17 wins, and 3 losses, over 8.5 years, for an average of 2.35 games per year.
Football games during that period are worth 2.35 games, for an overall (football+basketball) record of 38.18 wins and 5.35 losses. That makes a winning percentage of 0.877.

By the way, even if Ohio State loses to Michigan in basketball the winning percentages will only drop to 0.790 since Tressel was hired, and 0.831 since Matta was hired.
