2013 Sugar Bowl: Louisville +13.5 vs Florida (ov/un 45.5)

Wow... i'm quite shocked ... still the hyperbole

Just to finish the thought, a certain team back in '03 was also a bigger underdog than both Boise St. and Utah--the Bucks were an 11.5 underdog against that vaunted Miami team, and we all know how that turned out.:osu:

perfect example of how one team cared about the bowl game, and the other team didn't. Embarrassing performance by Florida

Really?

Then explain why Florida's front 7 was flying around like their hair was on fire. The fact is that Florida's defensive backs couldn't cover receivers that were just as fast and skilled as they were. Fucking pathetic excuse you gave and it's the standard SEC bullshit. When they get blown out they were disinterested and when the Big Ten loses a close game they suck. Just move to Louisiana already.

SEC is now 3-3 and 0-1 in BCS games.

Here's pulling for Oklahoma to beat Johnny Football.

dont forget Pitt plays Ole Miss... not like that proves anything but if they end up 4-5 or 3-6 its going to be outstanding.

Let me guess--you also think scUM didn't care about its bowl game, or its game against Alabama, or its game against Notre Dame, or its game against Nebraska, or its game against OSU (note that that is the complete list of teams with a pulse in your team's mediocre 8-5 season).

There's nothing wrong with thinking the Florida didn't care or didn't show up for this game... as long as you're not pretending that it's some sort of virtue like ESPN or SEC fans will.

Florida got whooped. What took place in that dome last night went well beyond that though - it was more pathetic than simply losing to a team that was better than you on that night.

It dosn't matter if the SEC goes 1-5 in bowl games. You'll never hear the end of it so long as Alabama wins that damn title.

Not so fast, my friends. It just goes to show how worn down these SEC teams are after their grueling conference schedules.

Those teams, with the exception of Nebraska, were all better than Michigan. I never made excuses for any of those. Kids played their hearts out in the Outback Bowl. Far cry from what I saw last night.
