2013 Sugar Bowl: Louisville +13.5 vs Florida (ov/un 45.5)

perfect example of how one team cared about the bowl game, and the other team didn't. Embarrassing performance by Florida

This would imply that Florida was the better team and the second they started losing, then should have "cared" - turned the heat up and started winning.

When in fact, they didn't. Because Louisville is the better team.

Had nothing to do with this team "not" wanting to be there. They flat out got their asses kicked.

I didn't hear any complaints from Florida fans when the smashed an overmatched Cincy squad after coming up short for a national title.
Nope.. just more "SEC" bullshit after beating a team they we're better than.

Didn't happen this time around - so you get excuses. Nothing new.

i think they play this game 10 times, and Florida wins 8. I don't think Louisville is a better team. My opinion.

this is who Florida was this year.
this ain't the 1st time they come out a play terribly.

struggled to beat Bowling Green, needed a blocked punt with 8 sec to beat USL, let Mizzou hang around all game, etc.

for the most part, they were good enough to still win games by playing like shit.
Twice now this year, they played like shit and got beat.

Florida couldnt even beat one of the worst 10 win BCS conference teams ive ever seen in their bowl game, yet was a ND loss away from playing Alabama in the national title game

proof of how absurd the overhype and over ranking of SEC teams is

You weren't, by any chance, playing running back for your team the other day when some big mofo from South Carolina hit you - were you?

I hear that bright lights bother concussions. Go back to the darkness, my friend, cause your ass is delirious.

If Florida was the better team....just like if Tragic Martinez and Ameer were right....both the Gators and the Huskers would have won their respective games, right?

the better team has always won every game they were suppose to in history..........right? I mean, that must be what happens, no matter what. People seem to think I was rooting for Florida or something, which is hilarious. I can't stand them, but I they are a better product than what they put out that day. I'm over it. Arguing just argue at this point.

Florida lost over $800,000 by going to the Sugar Bowl

Adding insult to injury, the University of Florida lost roughly $840,000 by going to the Sugar Bowl. The Gators were soundly beaten by Louisville, 33-23, and lost much of that sum after failing to sell their seat allotment of 17,500. Schools that attend bowl games are required to purchase large blocks of seats, and are stuck with the bill if they fail to sell their allotment to fans. Bowl games have become an increasingly losing proposition for most schools due to this arrangement, but large BCS bowls have generally remained moneymakers for the teams involved.

That's crazy! You would think Kentucky, Vandy, Tennessee, and the fans of the Mississippi schools would have bought those up so they could do that stupid chant.
