There was a point where we had no food, no money, so I called my coach and I said, 'Coach, we don't have no food. We don't have no money. We're hungry. Either you give us some food, or I'm gonna go do something stupid.' He came down and he brought like 50 tacos for like four or five of us. Which is an NCAA violation. [laughs] But then, the next day I walk up to the facility and I see my coach pull up in a brand new Lexus. Beautiful."

An audience that featured an estimated 20 Ole Miss football players reportedly used derogatory slurs and heckled cast members during a performance of a play on the Ole Miss campus Tuesday night.
According to the school paper, the theater department was doing a performance of a play called The Laramie Project. The play was about Matthew Shepard, an openly gay University of Wyoming student who was tortured and murdered in 1998.

Side note, it seems there is book out on this case that says it was not a crime against gays but more of a murder-robbery by one of his lovers. Allegedly, he wouldn't share his drugs.

University of Alabama assistant strength and conditioning coach Corey Harris has been placed on administrative leave for providing impermissible benefits to suspended football safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, The Tuscaloosa News has learned.

UA head coach Nick Saban announced Wednesday that Clinton-Dix has been indefinitely suspended for violation of team rules but did not specify the nature of the violation.

Assistant strength and conditional coach Corey Harris has been placed on administrative leave.In looking into the matter, the UA compliance office also discovered that Harris had a connection to a representative of a sports agent. UA's internal investigation has found no indication that Clinton-Dix has had contact with any agent or agent representative. Efforts to reach Harris were unsuccessful.

Well, I doubt he was trying to pay his mom back for a cell phone that she had acquired for T.J. Yeldon, doesn't sound too serious to me. I mean... it's not like Bama has had any other recent players in the news regarding impermissible benefits or anything.

Have you seen how he claps on the sidelines? He eats grass. That's your HC. He's that bad. Intentionally or not, you get what you see.

Urban and Les are both straight shooters. Urban has a degree in Psychology. Les has a degree in abnormal Psychology it seems.

In what might be my most favorite ridiculous NCAA Infraction violation - UGA has self reported and suspended it's Director of On Campus Recruiting for 5 Days.

Apparently, it's a violation for these recruits to receive mail from a program prior to September 1.
Our DoCR mailed out letters on August 30 (a Friday) and some of the recruits received them on the 31st. He is suspended for the mail getting there too quickly.
