2013 SEC Discussion and Division Races

Not 100% sure whose to blame for this TREMENDOUS Alabama troll bait. But I think we can eliminate Auburn since they don't have any computers on Campus.

Obama as Bear Bryant feels like Florida trolling to me....

A little off topic but this is an SEC thread. A little background info first, I work on an Army base in southern Arizona so there is a fairly diverse fan base for all types of sports and various teams from the NFL, MLB, NCAA, etc. There is a large following for the Arizona Wildcats in college football, but you will see license plates / flags for Texas, Alabama, Tennesee, M*ch*gan, tOSU (proudly display an OSU license plate on my vehicle), Oregon, etc. and other NFL, MLB teams thrown in as well. So yesterday evening I'm driving out the gate and onto the highway heading home and this car passes me and I notice it has three car flags attached to the driver side window. I thought it was odd to have three flags attached to the same window, as normally you see people fly two team flags, one on each side of the vehicle. As I got further down the road, I came to a traffic light and the car that passed me was stopped at the light in front of me and I looked at the flags again. They were attached to the window in this order: Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU ... and I thought to myself, how in the hell do you root for so many teams from one conference (unless they somehow had ties to those three teams). I'm surprised their license plate didn't read "ANY_ SEC" or "Roll Tide_Aggies_Tigers" or have three more teams on the passenger side. Kind of trivial, but the whole "SEC SEC SEC" is not only strange but annoying as hell.

Living in Florida, this does noth shock me. If you live in bama, louisina, mississippi, georia, etc they fly 1 flag. If you live in a state like florida or arizona or texas etc where people move to to. They are bandwagors. Now they bandwagon on the whole SEC. Alabama is full of tide and auburn fans. Louisiana is full of lsu fans. One guy i know here used to coach high school ball in ohio. I cant watch football with him because he spends the whole game talking about how sec speed beats everyone else. It is easy to become an sec homer.

Could be a parent is an alum of one and has kids attending the other two. I've seen quite a few cars here on Hickam with two different college flags/stickers on them...

That'd be a bit unlikely though, given they're covering 4 separate states. Residing in AZ... with flags from LA, AL, and TX.
Unless they're driving a Porsche... and can afford to fund multiple out-of-state tuitions.

Had two daughters at Hickam (one in the Air Force and one married to an Airmen) a few years back. Went and visited in 2008 for about three weeks, and didn't want to come back to Arizona! Great place, awesome views, great food, beaches, snorkeling .... paradise!

Definately wasn't a Porsche, was a smaller car like a Ford Fiesta or similar. Maybe was a Private that got brainwashed by one of the "Intel" instructors on the base that's an SEC homer!

My dad was in the Army. Lived in Virginia, went to University of Puerto Rico. One son went to Arizona State, the other son went to Ohio State. When you don't have to pay a mortgage, you have a lot more money

(Yes, my brother and I watched the 97 Rose Bowl together.)

That being said, I also paid for the last 3 years of college by myself.
