Really was not expecting that much of a gap in the computers. Win and they're playing for the NC. Such a ridiculous feeling after the last two+ seasons.

Remember, during the 2002 MNC game, there was a picture of Frosty jumping up and down on Eddie's shoulders.....
I think one of two things will happen:
1) He'll go so far out of his way to look objective that he'll end up mostly only looking stupid (which is currently what he does)
or
2) The deep-seated love he claims to have for the university and team will bubble up to the top and he'll defend them over the next month+.
should be fun to watch

It's simple it's not who you beat it's who you beat when you beat them with humans. If i team would beat 5 #1 teams throughout the season that ended up outside the top 20 the humans would still reward that team for beating 5 #1's and not reevaluate those wins on how the teams ended up which is just sad but is the way it is.

Pretty much. It all goes back to Georgia's laughable preseason ranking.
Clemson fed off that, jumping to the top-5. FSU beat them meant they jumped to the top-3.
Then it was just a matter of Oregon folding once they faced a real team.

Ohio State is #2 in the BCS and #2 in all three components (i.e. Harris, USA Today and computer polls). We actually got some 1st place votes in both the USA Today and Harris polls; and was #1 in one computer poll (which was thrown out). Take care of Sparty who is ranked #10 and we're in.
