2013 Preseason and regular polls

The stakes just got bigger for next week.

No longer is it win and go to the Rose and maybe the NC.

Its now win and go to the National Championship. Lose and go to the Capital One Bowl.

OSU will get a BCS game. We travel too well not to. Just hope we look better in a dome with a favorable crowd than we did today.

Think I'm going to root for Notre Dame since a nerd loss would catapult Sparty into the top 10 for next week. Thankfully, I have a full bottle of really good grower Champagne to wash the taste out of my mouth.

Im hoping MSU finishes the year 15 or lower. The winner in Indy should be the only one to go BCS bowling

No way Ohio State does not go to a BCS Bowl, regardless of what happens in Indy. Capital One is not in the picture for the Buckeyes.

Its just my opinion. I just don't know with the amount of 1 loss teams already in the picture for a BCS Bowl, it would be a tough sell.

Don't get me wrong, I hope like hell we would get the invite somewhere if things go sour next week.

Its just my opinion. I just don't know with the amount of 1 loss teams already in the picture for a BCS Bowl, it would be a tough sell.

Don't get me wrong, I hope like hell we would get the invite somewhere if things go sour next week.

Not as tough of a sell as you might think. When bowl execs see Ohio State, they see dollar signs. There's a reason Ohio State went to so many BCS games during this era, and it wasn't just because they had a lot of good teams.

Right there with you! Having multiple BCS teams has been a financial boon for the BIG, but ends up shifting all of the lower teams one tier higher than they should be.
