Nice strawman.

I'm only judging the outcry that is flying in the face of the ruling. I try not to judge people by who they are but what they do. I see stupid everyday, there's no escape from it but to cry and whine about something like Tiger dropping his ball further back is just petty.

I wasnt directing my comments at this board either, necessarily, but the overall public opinion and the original whiner calling into the Master's tournament from his couch. If the shoe fits though...

Ah, the old STRAWMAN defense. Popular on message boards. THing is, it isn't. It's a direct comparison. You've thrown around words like "jealousy" "racism" and "pathetic" to describe everyone who has a problem with what happened here. You have nothing to base that on other than your own perception.

I have no dog in this fight, I don't care if he plays or not...but you seem to be the one doing the most judging.

The CBS announcers pretty much admitted it during the telecast. I believe Lundquist's exact words were "For those who believe TIger should be disqualified, I want you to take a look at the response he is getting on 15 and into 16". Everyone knows Tiger is the Tour's ratings mealticket.

I agree with that point of view. Hell, a lot of those people wouldnt be there if not for people like him. It's more an indictment of our social system altogether than anything else. "Love him when he's on top, love it even more when we can burn him on the cross." Pun intended.

He's a fantastic golfer and that's why I tune in. I don't care about his race, social habits financial well being. When things get nitpicked to hell and back it takes the enjoyment out of watching the actual play - not just in this sport either. The NFL is basically killing itself with nitpicking, imo. I just want to watch without all the bullshit and yes I believe a lot of it is racism.
