1 week till opening day!

not looking good for to get into a game until early March or so (possibly against my Alma Mater).

Looking like we should have another solid year.
hopefully it doesn't end pre-maturely like it did last year.


and it looks like I may have finally given up on my annual attempts to pull in a radio signal.

instead, i have resigned myself to pony up the $40 [strike]extortion[/strike] fee to get video (home games) and audio (all games) online this season.

don't know if we can catch or beat last year's attendance record, but we're off to a good start.

9,175 season tickets sold this year (and a waiting list of just over 700).
those season tickets alone will be enough to comfortably lead the nation in attendance once again.
that's without selling a single individual game ticket, or hosting any postseason games.

last year, LSU outsold every minor league team in the country (on per game basis).

beat Lamar midweek 8-1 (actually, Lamar somehow managed to blow themselves out).

beat BYU tonight 6-5 with a bases loaded single to the wall by Raph Rhymes bottom of the 9th.

next up Southeastern La tomorrow night.

Friday games vs SLU was postponed to Sunday due to rain.

lost to BYU Saturday 9-4
beat SLU 13-1 on Sunday.


now 6-1 on the season.
school with worst case of penis envy in history (USL) of the globe pays us a visit tomorrow night.

typical mid-week games at Tulane run about $10.00 for nice chair back seats down the 1st base line.Even in row 1.


tickets to the LSU game this year on a Tuesday night? ... $35.00 each for shitty bleacher seats in the corners.

tickets to LSU home games cost the same amount regardless of opponent.
$15.00 for grandstand
$10.00 for bleachers

LSU traveled to Lafayette for 1st time since '02 (series went on hiatus for a few years after the brawl in the '02 regionals) and administers the ass whipping those bastards deserved.
