How bad is the West Coast Conference? The only team St Mary's has lost to since December is Gonzaga. WEAK.

I am not going to pick the Zags to the F4 this year. Too many short guards who aren't very good defensively getting too many minutes. For some reason it doesn't surprise me that Illinois could beat them, because Illinois has occasional hot 3-point shooting games and they were leaving Saint Mary's guards open a lot, they just weren't very good at shooting for the most part. Horrible job by St Mary's "defending" the post - clearly they miss the presence of Rob Jones (related to Jim Jones of Jonestown infamy). The Zags will struggle when they run into a great 3-point shooting team with a good defensive frontcourt.

12-19 South Florida and 15-17 Seton hall set basketball back 50 years with Seton Hall winning the game 46-42....in overtime, it was 37-37 at the end of regulation.

South Florida shot 24.2% from the field, Seton Hall did shoot 40% so they must had been playing a slowed down version of Wisconsin's offense

MEAC is a mess

after Norfolk State who was 16-0 in conference goes down

North Carolina Central who was 15-1 loses to North Carolina A&T who was .500 in conference and overall coming into the gae

Richmond up 3 with 4 sec left, they foul Charlotte to prevent 3. 1 and 1 situation, guy makes first, but Richmond guy shoves Charlotte player, receives a technical. Guy makes all 3 FT's so now up 1.

Keeps ball, Richmond fouls Charlotte, I think they called a foul in the act of shooting, Richmond coach goes banana's gets a double technical (ejected) Charlotte then shoots 6 FT's

end game...was 63-61 Richmond 4 sec to go, final was 68-63 Charlotte :lol:


Charlotte shot 10 FT's in the final 4 seconds :slappy:
