they did not have any problems killing the police officer with about 5 shots. That poor guy did not even have time to get his gun out of his holster. If you can set off a bomb, I do not think you have any personal problems with killing people with a gun or a knife or a spoon.

not a killer even of bugs so i have no idea honestly, but i imagine it is much more taxing to pull the trigger and look at your target than to set up a device that will eventually kill random faceless people (from the perspective of the coward).

not defending them at all, just trying to get inside their head a little.

know thy enemy and all that happy horseshit.

I understand what you are saying but I just do not understand how they could kill that police officer with no problem whatsoever and that was before the Mercedes. Hard to believe that they have not found this young kid yet. Maybe he has lying in a basement with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head… One can only pray:)

i am assuming it was fight or flight and they were cornered animals and needed to fight. these kids are not getting caught no matter what though from their actions. they want to flight, but are willing to fight. there won't be any surrender or capture unless they catch him completely off guard / sleeping.

i don't see this type of mentality going for the suicide route either unfortunately. he is going to take someone out with him. suicide by cop is the only suicide this coward will do.

i did hear they had blood at the scene where they kid drove off after his brother was killed. they seemed to imply it was his blood. maybe he did just go into hiding and bleed out.

also heard that they are only looking for him now. i really want to know what the youtube video posted this morning was. it looks like it was shot in one of the stolen cars and filmed last night. there are definitely three voices on that film and i would love a translation honestly to see what he said to get in his mind a little. this makes me think there is a third out there somewhere, but the FBI seems pretty convinced so i am probably wrong, but knowing the translation of the youtube video would help me understand more.


anyone else find it funny that the guys name is basically joker czar naive

Haven't seen anything official yet, but some anonymous tweets going around over last hour that NYPD drove to Boston with grills and meat to cook for overworked BPD. Awesome gesture if true.

I've seen what appear to be bomb-sniffing dogs in the streets, and that makes a lot of sense.

But I'm hoping that they also thought to put some bloodhounds on his scent, knowing where he sat in the carjacked Mercedes SUV, and letting the bloodhounds roam the neighborhood in Watertown. I don't think that the up to 200 bullets they shot into the car would ruin his scent for bloodhounds, but I'm not sure.

It seems likely that he somehow managed to get out of that neighborhood shortly after the shootout.
