2013 B1G/ACC Challenge

Didn't expect IU or PoSU to win, but Illinois just pissed one away, getting outscored 19-4 at the end to lose by 1.

Poor start for the B1G, but 4 of the 6 games today were on the road for the B1G and the B1G's best 3 programs (MSU, OSU, and UW) are all playing tomorrow. Embarrassing game for UM, as they went like 12 minutes with 1 FG in the first half and for the longest time it looked like they wouldn't be able to get to 20 points at halftime - McGary got some garbage points late that had no impact on the outcome to improve his stat line but he really didn't show up like UM needed him to in this game. DU has nothing inside defensively, this is the type of game McGary has to go off for 20 and 10 to prove he's an NBA guy but he didn't do it.

2-4, should be 3-3 but Illinois gave the game away. The B1G should win the challenge tomorrow night though, NW will most likely lose but the rest are winnable.

I can hear it now...

"The ACC are dominating the Big Ten in the challenge, which begs the question: should undefeated Ohio State really be ahead of one-loss Auburn in the BCS?" - ESPN

I hope you're right, but I'm not so optimistic. I'd say OSU, Wisconsin, MSU and Purdue will win for the Big Ten, and Miami and NC St. will win for the ACC, making it a split overall. And I think UVA can definitely knock off Wisconsin, so I'd say if one side is more likely to win outright, it's the ACC.

Things going about the way most projected. My guesses below (from the Buckeye game thread):

Tuesday, Dec. 3 (all times ET)
7:15 - Indiana at Syracuse (ESPN)
7:15 - Illinois at Georgia Tech (ESPN2)
7:30 - Penn State at Pittsburgh (ESPNU)
9:15 - Michigan at Duke (ESPN)
9:15 - Notre Dame at Iowa (ESPN2)
9:30 - Florida State at Minnesota (ESPNU)

Wednesday, Dec. 4 (all times ET)
7:00 - Maryland at Ohio State (ESPN or ESPN2)
7:00 - Wisconsin at Virginia (ESPN or ESPN2)
7:30 - Northwestern at NC State (ESPNU)
9:00 - North Carolina at Michigan State (ESPN)
9:00 - Boston College at Purdue (ESPN2)
9:30 - Miami at Nebraska (ESPNU)

8-4 B1G
I agreed with you but I did not realize you were such a dumb ass:lol:

Wisconsin tends to play softer on the road, UVA will be a tough test but winnable. Miami has struggled this season but Nebraska isn't much to brag about either. I give the edge to Nebraska since it's on home turf. In the end all that truly matters is the Buckeyes giving Maryland a sample of the plunger.
