Continued ....The offenses led by Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, and Robert Griffin III aren't necessarily revolutionary, but these quarterbacks have ushered in a dynamic attack utilizing the quarterback at a maximum. What is this new phenomena? What is this new gimmick that has the likes of Urban Meyer taking notes on how to implement the same schemes into his already vaunted Ohio State offensive attack? None other than Pistol Offense.
During a radio interview, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said he plans on stealing some of the things the San Francisco 49ers run on offense

I thought Jamie woods career was over.
If that's the case I'd have darron lee on SS depth chart replacing him
Would powell also provide great depth at FS?
As much as I like pittsburgh brown, and I'm still rooting for him, but he's definitely in an uphill battle for PT. I'd also include chris worley for depth at the star and either S position(at least for now this year, he could easily gain 15-20lbs and move to olb)
Michael hill (assuming his injury is healed) may replace chris Carter for depth at DT
And no mention of cam burrows? I figure he can certainly give Griffin and murray a great competition for PT behind roby

RB07OSU;2324689; said:I think Lee and Worley are good candidates for PT on special teams (ideal combo of speed and size for punt/kick coverage) but I think we have guys experienced and/or talented enough in the star/safety position. In rough order: Barnett, Bryant, Powell, Pittsburgh, Bell, Bogard, Wood, and Tanner. So I think their PT at either the Star or S comes next season after Barnett, Bryant, Wood, and Pittsburgh are all gone. As for Pittsburgh, I am rooting for him as a senior but I've heard he is struggling some this spring and he is on the clock to produce.
Hill may have similar attributes but UFM has been on record to say Price is likely the most game-ready DL we have coming in. That being said, Hill has the size and athleticism to be rotated in some if any semblance of the proverbial "light" clicks. I think we are solid at DT but aside from possibly Bennett, I don't see any game-changers on the interior and only really see Hill as that type of talent. We'll see I suppose.
Burrows I haven't heard much on really and it just seems Apple gets more talk. On paper coming in, I thought Burrows would have a better shot at PT being more physically developed though. Still a long ways to go and I am looking forward to seeing how all the freshman perform in the spring game.
