Wyoming is a tough place to recruit. I'm surprised he didn't have a better offer with his record at NDSU.

Agreed, he deserved a better opportunity but coming from NDSU I don't think anything at Wyoming will be a new struggle for him. If Brett Smith was staying, they'd be awfully tough as they have some talent returning, lost only by 3 @ Nebraska this year. Of course, road games against Michigan State and Oregon won't make it an easy start for him.

He'll be there long enough to make the Pokes competetive again, then he'll head to greener pastures because the UW admin doesn't ever want to pay anyone what their worth to keep them. It can't be any harder to recruit kids to Laramie than it is to Fargo though.

But at Laramie you're recruiting FBS talent, not FCS talent, so the competition is different. Still, I agree he'll likely lift the Cowboys then move on to something better.
