Stewart Mandel's projections for the Big Ten. I think these are fairly accurate:
Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Stanford
Orange Bowl: Ohio State vs. Clemson
Capital One Bowl: Wisconsin vs. South Carolina
Outback Bowl: Iowa vs. LSU
Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl: Nebraska vs. Kansas State
Gator Bowl: Michigan vs. Georgia
Texas Bowl: Minnesota vs. Oregon State
Once again, I don't see a lot of wins on that schedule for the B1G. Ohio State probably has the best shot, and MSU-Stanford should be a hell of a game. Otherwise, the rest will be tough games for the conference.
4-3 or 5-2:
- Michigan State will need another well coached game to win. No mistakes.
- Buckeyes game can be discussed when the thread is opened tonight.
- Wisconsin is a sound team that gave the Buckeyes fits. We know they don't play defense in the SEC, so if they come prepare, its winable.
- LSU will destroy Iowa
- Nebraska should beat K-State
- Georgia will handle Michigan
- Minnesota is a really good team. They had an appearance in the Top 25 at the end of the season. They played in some tight games. This is a big bowl for them. I think the emotions of the season will help them into a victory.
