2012 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

An unsolicited piece of advice to the clowns running the athletic department and the football facilities at TSUN:

You have a college football stadium. The rules for college football were changed before this season, dictating that kickoffs occur with the ball placed on the 35-yard line. The small 'X' on the line markers is supposed to indicate which yard lines are used for the ball placement on kickoffs. Your large toilet, as of last Saturday's game against Massachusetts, still had the 'X' placed on both of the 30-yard lines.

Feel free to change the markings on your field to match up with the current rules of college football at any time.

Check the 22 second mark of this youtube to verify.

They're too concerned with new uniform combinations.

Hey look, it's bleacher report. Feel free to poke holes:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...why-wolverines-deserve-to-be-ranked-in-top-25

For the first time this season, the Michigan Wolverines are sitting on the outside of the Top 25, unranked and at 2-2 as they begin conference play in Week 5. The Wolverines two losses have come against both top ranked Alabama and a No.11 ranked Notre Dame. So why has Michigan dropped out of the Top 25 completely?

With what they've shown as a team, this team should still be ranked in the Top 25.

This offense has had to face two great defenses in the first four weeks, which has given people a jaded view of the team. The Wolverine offense has the ability to move the ball against anybody in the country; we should not forget what the Wolverines did last season and to a good Virginia Tech defense in the Sugar Bowl.

Michigan is among one of the elite teams in the Big Ten and boasts one of its best quarterbacks in Denard Robinson. The dual-threat QB is one of the most explosive players in the nation, and is easily the best offensive player for the Wolverines.

In addition to the threat that Robinson poses, they also have an underrated running back in Fitzgerald Toussaint, who is the second leading rusher on the team behind Robinson. They also have two good options in the passing game at receiver in Jeremy Gallon and Devin Gardner.

While the Wolverines defense needs some improvement, they're still a solid unit, ranking 37th in the nation in total defense.

On top of that, teams that made one more win got moved into the rankings prematurely. Michigan has proven more than the likes of teams like Baylor, Mississippi State, and Rutgers, who will not be in the rankings much longer as they begin to hit the conference part of their schedule.

Yes, those teams may be undefeated, but they also boast weak wins against weak teams, whereas the Wolverines have been battle tested and proved they have the skills to hang in there with some of the best teams in the country.
A record of 2-2 is not all that bad when you take a look at who Michigan lost to. That alone boosts their overall appeal, but the voters chose to ignore the Wolverines and pick teams that are truly unworthy of being ranked.
The Wolverines have some of the best talent, ability and players in the nation. They should be placed into the Top 25 where they belong.

My favorite part was the bit about last season, because that matters to the team today. :paranoid:

Because Michigan will be going undefeated in conference play.
