2012 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

and it's more than just socks. The long shorts... I remember hating basketball because you'd be watching a game, and you couldn't avoid the short shorts and the junk in them. :paranoid:

But.. thank God for the Fab5. Now I can watch basketball again without feeling so queer.

Top-15 MI recruits answer best, worst experiences and why they didn't choose their rival
2. Terry Richardson

Detroit Cass Tech
DB, WR, KR/5-9, 165
Commitment: Michigan
Best recruiting experience: Just getting all of the scholarship offers was the best. Talking to all of the coaches like Urban Meyer and Nick Saban, that was cool. Nick was a great guy; it was amazing. He comes to Detroit and he was the first one to offer me (a scholarship). That was my sophomore year and I was thinking of committing right there.
Worst recruiting experience: It was all of that Facebook and Twitter stuff. All their responses (after Richardson sent a Tweet about playing time at Michigan). When I tweeted, some said some stuff and that U-M didn't need me.
Why not MSU? They didn't give me a scholarship (offer) after I got one from Alabama and LSU.
...
GBW responses
Is Terry Richardson the most reluctant commit ever? It seems like every comment from him almost laments the fact that he had to choose Michigan. I don't quite get it.
I was going to wait till Thursday to say that

Always enjoy this piece but his comments didn't it well
Don't get me wrong, I think Terry will be great, and I am not trying to bash him at all.

Just strange. He committed along time ago, but has barely had a nice thing to say since. I know he was kind of bummed because he wanted to enjoy the process, but felt like he had to commit, and then couldn't take visits. But he needs to get over it and be happy that he has a scholarship to the greatest university in the world..
Some of the people he's interacted with in the social media world have put a bad taste in his mouth, I think.
I'm shocked this didn't elicit the usual responses saying those were just OSU fans pretending to be UM fans. Like they did every time Dunn was attacked by their fanbase.
True. But that didn't cause TR to pop off repeatedly even before the twitter a-holes got going. He has never sounded like he wants to be a UM commit.

This is all water under the bridge come tomorrow anyway. I hope he becomes an all-american. I just don't think I have ever seen a kid demonstrate less excitement over being a UM commit. At least publicly.

Terry Richardson is a Cornerback. What do you expect?

We can't recruit Corners.
We do it once every 6 years.
The ones we get don't stay.
The ones that come here get talked into it based on our pathetic recruitment of the position for that reason only.
No Cornerback will ever take us seriously unless Deion Sanders coached this team.

LOL - I'm with you from the standpoint that we typically don't get enough CB's.
But at the same time Michigan has one of the best track records of producing NFL CB's the past 15/16 years and Countess looks like the next great one (which might scare a kid or two away), because we'll already have a lil logjam for the #2 CB spot for a few years.

 They are all convinced Countess is the next great one too.

What will people say when Burbridge is catching TD's for MSU against Michigan? He will be on MSU's roster just like Pittman will be on OSU's roster. two kids that wanted to commit to Michigan this summer "allegedly" but had bad grades "allegedly".
As always, jtssrx is one of the few who doesn't drink the koolaid.
