So much for making fun of the 8 home games Michigan played last year

You missed the point. No one was making fun of scUM for playing 8 home games last year. OSU does it regularly. Instead, we were making fun of scUM fans who didn't realize how easy scUM had it scheduling-wise last year, and who therefore think 10-2 seasons will be the norm up there. Playing 8 home games is just one reason why scUM lucked out scheduling-wise last year. Other reasons include the fact that they got ND, Nebraska, and OSU all at home, and that they missed the best two teams in the Leaders division last year (PSU and UW) entirely.

Programs like Ohio State and M*ch*g*n should be playing 8 home games in most seasons, unless they have a high-profile non-conference game. To do otherwise is to leave a big stack of cash on the table.

Yep, we have eight home games this year because we get Cal on the front end of the home-away series with them. Seven home games in 2013 because we'll be at Cal...

I think you missed the point. :)

Mike knows all of this, but he just loves the attention. :wink2:

Exactly. The harmless idiot post with a smiley face.

I've said it before, if Mike grew up in a state that didn't have The Rivalry he'd have gone Goth to get his attention. The sad/humorous part is he's still playing out his version of going Goth here for us as an adult.

Most of the actual Goth dickbags grew out of it by the time they were 18-19. He's still going strong.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming where he pretends to be here for the recruiting updates.....

naw, I thought 8 home games was extreme. The smiley face represented my thinking osu was doing the same thing. Like I said, my bad. No reason to blow it out of proportion
Absolutely correct. I mean, just because he spends an inordinate amount of time on a rivals board doesn't mean he should know something as basic as the great majority of top teams play 8 home games every year. After all, that knowledge would require you to be something above a complete idiot when it comes to college football.

Oh, and I almost forgot, :).

Since I moved I have yet to take the time to read the entire legal code for the state of Pennsylvania so I'm not 100% sure speeding is illegal here.

Can anyone confirm this for me?
