2012 Spring Game - Sat, April 21, 1:30 ET

how much of this Urban offense do you guys think you'll see in the Spring Game? I read an article where Braxton Miller said they are planning on running a no huddle basically every game, a lot like Oregon does. Just curious if we'll get a taste of that this weekend, or if he'll keep it vanilla.

probably a watered down version...I read a quote saying that Urban wanted to pass a lot and not do a lot of QB runs...so you probably won't see the option part of it

Very vanilla but there will be a lot of throwing with no running from the quarterbacks. You'll see mostly no-huddle, imo, but to answer your question, I don't think you'll see very much of the Urban offense.

I don't think they'll hide much. They need the reps far more than the surprise, which is pretty slight given the film for both coaches at their previous stints.

Their inexperience will limit the playbook much more than secrecy, as well as keeping Braxton healthy.

In yesterday's presser Urban said it would be pass heavy, and he's hopeful there will be a lot of catching to go with it. Braxton will not be 'live' and will not run, since everybody already knows what Braxton can do with his feet. I don't think he specified whether any of the other QBs would be allowed contact though.

The thing is, the 'Urban offense' is more about tempo, mismatches and giving the QB options than it is about a specific scheme. He's obviously shown a talent for tailoring the O to different skillsets with Josh Harris at BGSU, Alex Smith at Utah, and Leak and Tebow at Florida.

I think he also said that Kenny won't be live, either.

Urban said that he stated he will have a very vanilla passing game.
