ORLANDO, Fla ? Miami (Fla.) Norland?s senior linebacker Keith Brown said his final high school campaign ended just like he would have hoped following his team's 38-0 FHSAA Class 5A State Final victory over Wakulla High School.



The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder finished the final game of his season tied for the team lead in tackles with four and also registered a pass break-up.

"I am still a commit to Illinois, but I go to the Army Game, so we'll see what hat I throw on," Brown said.



Aside from the Illini, Brown revealed a shortlist of schools that have been after him despite his commitment to the Big Ten school.



"Louisville, Miami is still coming after me very hard," he began. "I got South Florida, Ohio State, Wisconsin, I have a bunch of schools out there.

 Louisville did an in-home visit, Miami came through, Florida and Florida State. USF came to the school last week, but we were so busy practicing. I already graduated, so it is a dead period for me."

Four-star LB Keith Brown is almost done

Fresh off of leading a dominating effort by Norland (Miami, Fla.) in the Class 5A state championship game, four-star linebacker Keith Brown is down to the final few days of his recruitment.

"I'm going to make my final decision on January 7," Brown said. "I'm enrolling early so that's going to be it."

Brown has taken official visits to Purdue, Illinois, South Florida, Louisville and Clemson. He is currently considered a soft verbal to Illinois and was previously committed to Miami.

Urban must be looking for his Rainy/Demps type of running-back with these offers. All look extremely fast and quick, to go along with their small statures.

Urban is big on speed, and he will find it with one of these guys.
