Hall or Mewhort if need be...also could try Tommy Brown at RT or move Baldwin from DE to tackle. Surely not an ideal situation in terms of depth but it's where we are at.

It seems like we only have 1. True OT on the roster at this point with norwell, and Baldwin and fragel r learning on the go. Dodson and decker may be relied upon the minute they get to campus. Hopefully guys like hall and mewhort can provide depth in a pinch.

Some of the guys that the old staff were looking at for tackle, like Underwood and Brown, will probably slide inside, but most fans projected that to happen eventually anyway.

Moving Fragel and Baldwin to tackle fits the bill for what they are looking for to go along with Norwell and freshmen Decker and Dodson. The added depth from moving those two players from other positions will hopefully alleviate some of the growing pains until they can back fill on the recruiting trail- hopefully.

Mewhort seems to fit the bill at tackle as well if his footwork is there, but he was one of the most consistent interior linemen last season, so I would hate to see him regress after making a move to a new position.

By the way, I have to eat crow a little bit on Baldwin if he does make the move. Duane has been calling that one since the kid was in high school and I like to laugh at him for being out there. I'm sure he will Phil Steele being right for a decade or three. :lol:
