2012 NBA Finals: Thunder vs Heat (OK to bet)

Well, eventually it has to be his time, right?

I keep hoping for "never", but I think the added incentive of not getting passed by Kevin Durant is what he needed motivationally. We'll see. Just making a prediction. Would love to be wrong.

No one has a "time". Its either you play above the rest, or you get left in the dust. I think he's got a chance to win it this year, but OKC is a heck of a team. We can't discount them before a game is played.

In the interest of the "RJ"...

LeBron James is now the best player alive every night out, and especially in the 4th quarter. He has the power of Wilt, the saavy of Russell, the scoring prowess of Elgin Baylor, the presence of Kareem, the flair of Magic, the flash of Dr. J, the competitiveness of Bird and the skills of Jordan. The Heat is easily the best team in the last 25 years and there is absolutely zero chance that they will not win this series.

Right?

(sad thing is, I think if LeBron ever maximized/s his talent, he would/will be all of those things).

I hate agreeing with ESPN talking heads, but Bomani Jones hit the nail on the head quite often in that clip. Hopefully he's wrong with his last point about KD so we can keep hating on LeBron.

EDIT: Bomani did save the best line for the end. After this, we only have July baseball. #Facepalm The NBA might suck, but it's not nearly as bad as the long summer months of MLB baseball until football starts back up.

If Miami can shoot 83% from three the entire series - as they've done in the first quarter - they'll win it. I'm thinking "regression to the mean" will kick in over time.
