2012 Masters from Augusta

Man, wish I had seen this before it closed. Luke Donald, the #1 player in the world currently, at 19-1? He's going to win a major sometime soon...
They talked about him on the Golf Channel before the beginning of the Masters and the consensus was that he just doesn't hit the ball far enough to contend at Augusta. However, they thought that the softness of the course might help him but is probably suited to win a major on a shorter course.

Tiger! :slappy:

That looked like some piece of shit I'd hit. Par 3 and not even close to the green.

Second shot...rolls off the green.
I just happened to flip to it for the first time to see that glorious moment where he dropped his club and kicked it like a baby. I wouldn't pull that shit on my local shit course.....he's doing it on the biggest stage in the world.

His 'big baby' moments are many and it seems like every time he looks like a POS he just gains more fans.

Aaaaaaaaand potty-mouth Le Tigre with the "g@ddammit."

Caught that, too. Didn't hear the announcers mention it at all.

Nice hissyfit with the club tossing, too.

I'm fine with it.

Yes, I understand aficionados of the sport appreciated his skill. But, I almost totally stopped watching golf during the Great Tiger Dominance Era. Between having him stuffed down my throat by media as everything short of the Second Freaking Coming, and the fact that there was no drama or suspense in any tournament because the second Tiger would start coming on strong, every other player on the course would fall apart, watching was no fun for me.

Can't count the number of times I tuned in, watched a few holes played as Tiger made some ridiculous birdie or eagle shot, and the former leaders would just collapse. "A-aannn-nnnnd there go all their XXXXs dropping off" became my regular response to Sunday afternoon golf broadcasts. It got old in a big hurry.

No question--when Tiger was on top, where his opponents were concerned, he was absolutely "in their heads."

FFC...Freddie Fucking Couples continues to amaze...a huge crowd favorite and with good reason.

I had 1 last spot in the vBet, and was debating between putting Freddie or Ryo Ishikawa in there - obviously I went with the youngster. Sorry I didn't give the Freddie followers a chance at taking a 199-1 flyer on him which would look pretty good right now.

It is great seeing Freddy and Sergio playing well. It was also great seeing Phil make a nice comeback today. Jiminez might just surprise everyone this weekend. It would be iinteresting to kick back and have a Cohiba and Scotch with him.

I thought it was fucking funny as hell when Tiger drop kicked his club on the 16th tee. It was just as funny when Stenson flipped out on 18 yesterday.

If I was in the gallery there today, I think I'd have started edging my way toward the back of the pack. I was having visions of Tiger suddenly pummeling some poor onlooker senseless with his 9 iron.

Two days left--could still happen. :wink2:
