2012 Elite Eight: #2 tOSU 77, #1 Syracuse 70 (Final!)

Gotta try for at least a little dribble penetration in the second half. Not sure why Buford never even tries to use his midrange game any more. I would expect Sully to shoot a ton of FTs in the second half, but I suspect that this officiating clown squad will decide that it's been the show for long enough and call almost nothing on either team for the rest of the game.

Amir was the MVP that half...huge minutes to get us to the half tied.

The reason William doesn't get any calls is because he plays to get calls. If he were more aggressive and tried to actually finish vs. trying to draw contact he'd be a lot more successful at getting calls.

Rough game for Will so far...hope he can make a bigger impact in the second half.

Wish DeShawn had a better shooting rhythm but he's making good decisions at the top of the key. Even if he makes a bad pass, it's the right read. Having Sully back in the second half will be huge.

And lastly, I hope that terrible call against Syracuse on the charge, doesn't somehow equal the awful call on Sully in their (referees) minds. We missed Jared for an entire half. That call cost Syracuse a point. These officials better damn-sure let Jared play in the second half....

Go Bucks!!!
