2011 Women's World Cup

Sounds like we got outplayed, but like the US has said over and over, it's not always about skill - heart plays a factor.

Rapinoe as a sub seems to be the clinching spark. France dominated possessions, shots, corners and the middle of the pitch, but once we made some subs and got our legs back under us, they had no answer.

I don't care who we play in the Finals. Japan, Sweden, doesn't matter. We just need to keep things under control and play our match and we can beat anyone.

In the other semifinal...

Oqvist giveth, and Oqvist taketh away. At one end, she got a goal on a bad square ball giveaway, and at the other end she deflected the equalizer on frame while her team's keeper was off her line.
