And the point you still seem to be missing is that this is Buckeye Planet. We make fun is scUM, it's what we do. We dont always have to be right but our guests always have to put up with it.

We'll post whatever the [censored] we like and scUM fans won't tell us what's pointless and what isn't.

yeah I will..... that's what makes it fun

They can laugh all they want. The sun has to shine on a dog's ass eventually, so let them giggle with glee at a whole bunch of nothingness if that is what helps them get through their days. Deep down they know that their program has been [Mark May] for quite awhile.

And one other thing, most of us here do not give a flying monkey-[censored] what those idiot fans think anyway, so it is a non-factor.

You bring up another point. Up here in the State of Michigan, the (scUM fans) brought up the Jim Tressel rally and they mentioned the part where he said that they will beat Michigan this season. Their fan base is so delusional that they think OSU, MSU, ND, etc. are obsessed with them. They truly believe that all any of those three above mentioned schools only car about beat them (games and on the recruiting trial).

they should care about beating them. they should care about beating every team on their schedule. That's how football works. You play to win the game.

as for greyshirting, like others said, if a school is up front with a player, and a player is more than willing to go along with it, what can you do? It's the practices of guys like Miles and Saban who routinely push players off the team after promising them scholarships is where the problem is.

you don't need to come here and post this jargon to stir anything up. osu and Michigan fans already don't get along. You're not breaking down any barriers with this stuff. But Godspeed to you sir, thank you for keeping our planet safe:

Recruiting is a not as big of a deal if you can develop guys and you run a system that is successful. Troy Smith is a great example of that. A guy that was semi overlooked then beat the living piss out of scUM. And to be honest, it is the other way around in reality.... everyone in the Big 10 cares about Ohio State because they are the team to beat. So if you don't focus on them you are setting up to play for the middle of the conference.

I personally don't care about scUM's recruiting, play against sub par opponents(unless they lose... App St., Toledo) or coaching changes. They get excited about any little sign of life (which any eroded program would) and it doesn't cause me to lose any sleep. I have friends that like scUM, Indiana, State Penn, Sparty , etc.... and they all are the same. They root to a fault against us more than rooting for their team. It's pathetic. It shows how weak they really are. They know they can't be like us so they need us to fall to their level.

Ohio State fans shouldn't compare themselves to Big Ten bottom feeders like Michigan. Ohio State actually has won Big Ten titles the last 6 years. I did not come here to "stir things up" but to inform OSU fans in OH that U of M fans think they are "Good" now, when they haven't done ANYTHING worthwhile in the last 4 years. They honestly believe here in the State of Michigan that they have currently the #1 recruiting class in the country and that they believe that they can get ANY recruit in the state of ohio.

Tied for 6th place:

Michigan Monday -- Brady Hoke's Perfect Storm

...

If Ohio State beats Michigan in the Big House this season, Brady Hoke won't be able to tell recruits that the Buckeyes will never be able to land a big-name coach because it apparently doesn't even matter who coaches them.

Let's not forget, this might turn out to be Ohio State's bowl game. Granted, it would be the worst bowl venue ever?the bowl swag would consist of two days worth of Domino's pizza and unsold Noid dolls from 1987.

Cont'd ...

You don't have to wear the informant mantle. It's not unknown in these circles just how the typical Michigan mindset works. Furthermore, who gives a flying fuck what that fanbase is saying. Talk is cheap. November is when the shit gets real, and I don't see it being any different than what's been occurring the last few years. Until they actually win again in November, they can verbally slobber all over their own homo-erotic tendencies.

Today marks TWO THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE DAYS since Michigan last achieved a victory over tOSU. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, because it's tastes damn good.

no, we haven't done shit the last decade vs osu. but you'd have to be blind to not see why UM fans are excited about the class Hoke is bringing in so far in 2012.

honestly though, if I didn't go into every season thinking we could win every game and beat ohio state, what would be the point of being a fan?

Who cares what they think. They can land the #1 recruiting class in history and they're still going to be a mediocre team in 2011. Thanks for letting us in on all this inside information. Do you sit around scUM fans and pretend to be one, only so you can pass the information on to us? That makes me feel dirty, but in a good way. Tomorrow see if you can get them to talk about their playbook, then come meet us behind the bleachers.

unsold Noid dolls from 1987.
That would be fucktastic. I'm checking ebay to see if I can buy one.

I say this knowing full well the extreme risk of hijacking the thread to kingdom come in the wrong direction, but....

....if you want someone to tap into the minds of Michigan fans, Captain Planet ain't your guy. I'll do him lots better. Your counter there used to be an honest-to-god source of irratation to Michigan fans, but not any more. Why? Because we know for a fact that it happened last year with an uneven playing field: ineligible players, and that Tressel knew it. Which of course opens the question in folks' minds about how many other times the playing field wasn't level, either. NCAA penalties aside, I'd say the #1 intangible result of the shitstorm is that Michigan fans really did used to grit their teeth and say "we gotta get rid of that counter" and now, honestly, nobody cares.
