I am not worried, we had that in 2008-2009 and we got nailed for over stretching:lol:

When this is all done and all the hype is done, IMO it's going to come down to 1 person with the issues. TP is the main cause for what is going on.

The rest of the stuff is all fluff until proven.

Really where have I made accusations ? Until the hearing all we really know is the tat 5 sold some stuff.

First, I didn't make any accusations. I was just asking what you thought. Secondly, there is no argument. The shit is really for sale and there is shit all over the internet for sale from just about every CFB program. Again, I just asked what you guys thought of ONE guy having several autographed DR items for sale on eBay. I know these guys are allowed to sign shit as long as they're not getting a kickback.

I get that you're not worried or not giving it much thought until something is proven. Denial is the first stage. :wink2: However, if you think nothing dirty is going on then I can't really say otherwise because like you said until it's proven...these are all just legit eBay items for sale. Nothing to see here. Move along. :paranoid:

I tend to agree with what you have said...the problem for us isnt the violations...its the cover up anyway

but i think its going to become apparent that selling your autograph is a common and trendy thing that has been going on at multiple institutions....if your coach found out and burried it then you have an issue

yes for sure and the cover up.

Remember Stretch Gate? OMG you have have though the coaches were killing these guys, and when it was all said and done. It was not even close to the hype.

According to ESPN Les Miles was our coach the first time around also.

It wasn't about any accusations YOU have made. Point was whether an allegation is fact, fiction, researched or not...the world is ready to pile on.

You asked a question that sadly isn't germane to the public court of opinion. The world is ready to hate. There are still plenty of people who *know* all those car deals were bad. They *know* every player has sold their stuff and that is why and how OSU has recruited so well. YOu can't unring the hate bell....no matter what facts might come out later.

If people start talking about DRob selling his autograph...there is danger that it will get enough buzz that it will no longer matter if it is true or not, or if there is proof or not..people will start wagging their tongues..and as the story gets passed around it will get bigger and bigger..the scope will expand...and then the NCAA will start to wonder..and then it turns into a PR shit storm.

Crazy how out of hand the witch hunt got at OSU. I appreciate your ability to keep perspective..but my point wasn't that YOU are out of whack..it s that the press is. My comment was it won't matter if it is PROVEN or not if the press picks up on it.

If this DRob thing, as silly as it seems, get legs for any reason..it could become pandora's box. It is clear the press is thristy for this stuff..and when our well runs dry they will go feed their hack accusation needs elsewhere.

I was actually trying to be nice and ask what the resident tsun fans thought of the eBay link in scooters post. If you're gonna get all defensive I guess that's your right too. After all, tsun has never, ever had a student athlete take money for anything ever. It's just not possible, right? <insert fab 5 joke here>
