2011 TSUN shenanigans and arguments (off season)

The only 1/2 NC you guys have seen since Truman dropped the bomb on Japan doesn't happen without an ineligible player so I'd say the point is well proven.

Really, can we see some NCAA documentation on the above? I have not seen any, so I would like to see it.

To be fair, the legitimate AP #1 finish 1948 was 3 years after Japan got hit with the A-bomb.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nfl/raiders/2001-08-23-woodson-fraud-case.htmGoogle works the same for me as it does for everyone else.

Marion Darnell Jones was the guys name. It came out in federal court that Chuck took money from him before the 1997 season even started. Once a college player starts a relationship with an agent he's ineligible.

I was perhaps a bit hasty on saying it would have affected the 1997 National Championship though. After all Woodson didn't play for Nebraska.

Yeah that's what I thought, thanks.

It's called the statute of limitations. It isn't debatable that he accepted improper benefits, he admitted to it under oath.

Michigan was simply fortunate it happened outside the time frame where the NCAA could retroactively sanction the school.

But I think you know all of this and are simply engaging in a silly game of semantics, as though the timing of the discovery somehow clears him of wrongdoing.

The reality is there are improprieties at every school, but it isn't until the NCAA is forced to do a full investigation that they find things, and half the time they still give the school a pass.

I am still waiting for a link, is this one of those I am in trouble, so everyone else is also?

Under oath, nobody lies under oath either:)

I will glady read a link if you have one from the NCAA.

Leave the chewbacca defense stuff to those smart enough to practice it artfully. This isn't even entertaining trolling.

I have no interest in this discussion. Everyone knows football started in 1990.

It started in 1790.

scUM won 13 NC's between the years 1790 and 1792 by beating the school for prepubescent Amish 162-1 each time. Field goals counted for 81 points back then and Amish were bound by religion not to score on anyone but the greater Detroit council on sports and puberty voted all 13 NC's legit, so they count.

You play dumb very badly.
Under oath, nobody lies under oath either:)
 Do tell, why would Chuck lie about accepting benefits? What possible good could come from that, for himself, his university or his reputation?

Right, because that's the only source that matters.
