2011 tOSU Football Discussion

Some good things brought up.....how good is Sweat, Bino and whomever wins the third starting spot gonna be at LB`r this year? I think we are actually a little deeper and really talented across the front 4 and the back 4/5 is pretty talented too. A big question is how good are those linebackers gonna be. Go
Bucks

Obviously this is only my take, but I see no drop off in the talent in the LB corps from last year to this year.

Not at all concerned at TE,FB, or RB...STACKED

On the DL...stacked and reloaded. Linebacker...they didn't mention Moeller but he will be huge. We will have him in 50% of the time. I'm not worried about defense at all.

OL depth, WR, and QB are my concerns. TY Williams, Verlon Reed, and Brown can get it done. Braxton Miller is dripping with talent. We need some puppies to get better quick on the OL.

5-0 IS VERY POSSIBLE.

Hopefully I am too pessimistic here, but I see this as a relatively tough season.

I think they go 10-2 or 9-3 (they lose to either Miami or Michigan State, lose to Nebraska, and then maybe lose some other random game) and they are not allowed to play in a bowl game.

Reason number one billion to be thankful for Buckeye football... 9-3 is a "rough season".

:oh:

I know Robert Smith knows a crap load about football and I know he is trying to be as neutral as possible, but sometimes..... sometimes I just want to punch him in the face. Him and Urban Meyer, but that's a completely different matter.

I hope the players do still have faith in Tressel and hope that they can still look up to him. In my mind he is still a great role model and a high character guy regardless of the current situation.

I thought Smith was absolutely on target with his comments. What did he say that upset you so much?

I've never really understood why everyone got their pants bunched up by Doctor Bob. Nobody slams Craig Krenzel for not going to med school, yet with Smith it's like carte blanche to dump shit in his lap.

All that's been going on has really brought this team close togather. I really think the ony gsme that we could lose is at NU. Rust would be my concern there, because I really don't thin NU is all that awesome.

Also, I think 10 is kinda low for us. I mean didn't we just roll up the yards on the mighty SEC? And don't we return most of that offense? Top 5 at worst IMO.
