2011 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

After seeing Sterling Bailey on the list (Georgia Commit)...it shows me that rankings really don't mean much. This is a kid who coaches in the league go right after because they know he is not that good. This kid is no different than Keith Wells coming out of high school. Big body and fast but the kid has a long long long way to go.

You want to see some Southern bias, check out those rankings.

Yikes. The evaluators must have been on a road trip through Florida and Georgia when they were making that list.

Kenny Hayes - 40 in one and not in the 150 in another.

I always look at the Athlon Sports Consensus 100 (as opposed to these individual ones), but I agree with some in regards to a perceived bias (almost like they're headquartered in certain states and don't leave that area).

That is borderline obscene.

in fairness to espn on this one...they apprarently haven't rated Hayes yet. His grade is a 46 and I'm pretty sure that means that they have film on him but haven't rated him to this point.

I realized that and it was somewhat obvious, but it also aids to the point of perceived bias by Scouts Inc.

56 players rated from the state of Florida, 26 from Georgia and a combined 23 from both California (10) and Ohio (13).
