2011 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

^Someone once told me that scouts intial rankings are based on # of BCS offers FWIW.

That person would be wrong. The evaulation process is the same from the initial and final rankings.

The only difference is how many players they've actually had a chance to review this early in the process. As they review more and more tape and the pool of players increases, then some new players will emerge and the rankings will change.

If that were the case Tanner would be rated ahead of Clark...

Noticed Shon Carson on that list too.

Really interested to see more of Antonio Poole...he and Steven Daniels are two of the better looking LBs in the state for next year (IMO), along with Jarrett Grace, Ben Russell from Oak Hills and Shaq Petteway.

Also interested to see more of the two Toledo CC OL...Chris Boles and Kyle Camerson. Lots of great looking potential OL in Ohio next year...those two along with the likes of Jack Miller, Jamare Mills, Chase Hounshell, Aundrey Walker, Tommy Brown, Ryan Kelly, etc.

When do they put out the list for each state? Looks like the Harrisburg, PA area has some pretty decent talent this year. I'll have to get out and take in a few games.....starting with Bishop McDevitt and Jameel Poteat.

A couple questions for someone who knows Florida football better than myself:

1. Is there any chance on Wilder? He only has 1 Florida school on his favorites (Miami), but obviously we are the only northern school. I wouldn't be opposed to selling him on RB...we likely only take 1 RB this year and why not Wilder? I like him better on defense but we have a ton of prospects in that DE/LB mold we are recruiting and he wants to play RB.

2. Why no love for Cash? There is no way on earth he isn't a top 100 player in Florida and I have seen other publications with similarly dismal opinions it seems. I personally think with his junior film that he would be top 30 minimum...plus he has some impressive offers.
