Yet another kid getting his first offer from a Big 10 school...Sycamore OL Justin Murray has been offered by Minnesota and Indiana.

Zanesville DE Anthony Smith has been offered by Miami (OH)...and while he may be a bit undersized for the Big 10 at that position, his film is rather impressive.

Minnesota and Wisconsin have offered.

Michigan State has also offered Austin Traylor (there was some info out there previously that MSU had offered but that was refuted by GSN on 2/21...that info was not put out there by Austin as he was as confused by the reports of an MSU offer as anyone).

Tough year to be a LB in Ohio...looks like you are really going to have to stand out to see offers. I am counting at least 14 kids in Ohio (many of whom are down in Cincinnati) listed as LBs who have D1 offers already...with some real good ones like DePriest, Poole, Daniels, Grace, Petteway, Max Pirman, Marquise Vann, Nick Grigsby, Austin Traylor, Zack Shaw, Kendall Walker, etc. Having said that, there is another kid who is flying under the radar who could start seeing offers soon:

2011 Percy Johnson - Kenston - Promo - Jr yr

Moved from Michigan to attend Kenston...similar build to Poole and Daniels...6-1 215 and runs in the 4.5s...was 1st team all-state in Michigan last year playing at Madison Heights...also looks like he might be at OSU's spring game.

Nicholas Grigsby - Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, Ohio) LB
Grigsby is starting to see his recruitment pick up after a couple of solid seasons and with his performance this weekend proves he has the athleticism for the next level. At the combine he ran a 4.85 40-yard dash and 4.53 shuttle for a 93.75 SPARQ Rating. Will have to work bulking up a bit after measuring in at 198 pounds. So far a few MAC schools have jump on board with offers and Grigsby is hearing good things from Illinois and Michigan State with possible offers coming soon.
