I lost v$5 Billion on this. Despite not betting a dime on 3 favorites that ended up scratching.

I'm blaming you for saying (in last year's thread) that a 1-2 finish would have been a better bet because of Mackey's dominance.

That was just brilliance from me talking you into that 1-2 finish thing. I am still upset my personal fave (Seabass) couldn't pull it out in the end.

I've met one of the former winners (saw some of his winning team when they were puppies), went for a ride on one of his training sleds, and have followed the race on the Internet for over a decade.

But that doesn't mean I don't have a gambling problem.
