2011 Ohio State Captains - Vote for 4

Brewster (Brew Crew) and Moeller (what he has gone through) are sure-fire locks. No way either is not a captain.

Boren is a captain, I think, because of his attitude and lunch-pail work ethic.

I had a toss-up for the lasty spot between Williams and Simon, and although Simon is a Youngstwon guy, I leaned towards Williams solely because I think he has seen more game time. I would have had Simon as the fifth captain if we could pick five.

It's also mind-boggling to me that anyone would even think about picking Herron, Posey, or Adams after Tat Gate. Their actions were the catalyst for the resignation of possibly the best head coach in school history and the non-stop media bashing we been getting for the past eight months. I'd vote for a senior walk-on who has never seen a snap before I'd vote for one of those three.

My reasoning is exactly the same as yours on the first 3, and I also came down to Williams/Simon for the last spot. I went with Simon because he is described by other players as the hardest worker in the weight room. Not sure if that will have any bearing on the way they vote; but it seemed the best guess at the time.
