And MD Buckeye can get a tie with gracelhink if only SMU wins.

It's been real fun following this during the Bowl Season. Thanks again to BB73 for putting it on. Of course, I'd love to win this thing, but I also want to wish good luck to gracelhink, SouthernBuck, and MD Buckeye.:oh:

It has been a wild ride so far, with no early upsets.

Thank you grace, but when reality sets in there are "THREE" certainties in life.
The first two (Death and Taxes) are easy, but the third, in 49 years of existence are that "I" win at NOTHING!:smash:

No biggie, I've learned to deal with it (and still have a full head of hair).

My prediction is that Arkansas beats KSU and that SMU beats Pitt. So, the way I see it, you and MD Buckeye will tie for the title. If indeed Arkansas wins tomorrow, I suggest betting every nickel of $V that you have on SMU, because it will be a given!

Hey try my experiment for losers--I call it the reverse the curse.

When you know your personal "never win" curse is inevitable then pour your v-cash onto any other option to "profit" from the "I never win" curse.
Sometimes it really works, because sometimes you can outsmart your "never win" curse, it will get so confused by a contradictory crisis, it doesn't know how to leverage the situation to make you "not win."

Here is my advice, if Arky wins, then you wager your v-farm on SMU. :wink2:

GOD DAMMIT I hate being right, which very seldomly happens.

But, maybe I was wrong? Tough to go against a 49 year old curse!

Only an SMU win over Pitt can change the standings among the leaders.

If Pitt wins, Dubs holds on and wins with 10 points. If SMU upsets Pitt, gracelhink and MD Buckeye will tie with 12.5 points.

I laid the easiest win ever for everyone to share in, and yet was too stoopid to do it myself. Glad I missed this game, sounded like a real clunker.

Anyway, had fun doing it and posting in this thread.

CONGRATS to gracelhink and MD Buckeye on a well derserved, hard fought victory!
