2011 Big Ten Leaders Division Race

Don't know why playing them twice in a row is even being mentioned at this point. Seems like we're a pretty long way from that being a possibility

You know they won't suck this bad forever (and hopefully we keep on winning and don't take a nose-dive in the future), and the rematch will happen. Not this year, and maybe not for a few more years, but it will happen. And when that day comes...I hope it will be the second time in a row we get to beat those scUM bags. :oh:

Not really. The regime is changing soon.

The last regime change didn't help much, depends on who they get. The mess will take awhile to clean

It'll still be hard to lose the game and make it to the conference championship (as shown in the SEC, they had a rematch this year because the east was a clusterfuck, usually it doesn't happen)

This actually isn't true. The SEC makes sure the last game of the year is division games, so you have games that mean more. But if either Ohio State or Michigan wins it's first 7 conference games, then they already will have all the tie-breakers won and will be division champ.

Even if they enter at 6-1 and the 1 loss is against a team from the other division, it's quite likely that team team would have already clinched their division.

A team may need the win to stay in the national championship hunt, but at some point this game will have no say in who goes to the Big Ten Championship Game.

11-1 is not our best case scenario. 9-3 sounds closer to worst case than likely outcome.

Bingo. And 6-6 will only happen if half the roster goes down to injury. If CFN's assuming that in its "worst case scenario," then no team in the country should have a worst case scenario record that's better than 6-6.

I'm not upset about their call on Ohio State's "worst case scenario". I don't see them actually losing 6 games, but I guess it's possible. My beef is with the "best case scenario". Apparently, there is absolutely no way Ohio State beats all of those teams. Who does Ohio State have 0 chance to beat? I think if they are going to say Ohio State has a chance to lose 6 of those games, they should also agree that Ohio State has a chance to go undefeated, or at least point out who Ohio State absolutely cannot beat.

I agree. I don't necessarily think that OSU will go undefeated this fall, but there's a much better chance they'll go undefeated than there is that they'll go 6-6.
