2011 Big East Tournament

SJU escapes Rutgers by 2 points, and a couple officiating errors in the final seconds took away any chance RU had at a final shot. The BE Commissioner has come out and acknowledged the mistakes, but it doesn't change the outcome.

[sarcasm] I wish ESPN would just talk about the basketball game instead of constantly saying that it's a joke that Jim Calhoun only got a 3-game suspension that was delayed until the start of next season. [/sarcasm]

Tied with 18 seconds left. UConn can hold for the last shot.

Kemba Walker hits a 20-footer at the buzzer.

A screen switch put McGhee, Pitt's big center, guarding Walker on the perimeter with about 9 seconds left. How Pitt doesn't send a second guy out there is beyond me. No way can McGhee stay with Walker dribbling into a jumper.

I wonder if Pitt's loss will hurt their chances at a #1 seed or at least hurt their chances of playing close to home when it comes to the Sweet 16 if they make it that far.

Oh, I would also thank them for taking some of my vcash:(

I think Pitt is still a #1 seed. Who is going to take their place? My only guess would be Notre Dame... if they get to the Big East finals. If anything this helps solidify Ohio State as the #1 overall seed.

I guess I was thinking about 2 out of these 3 depending upon how they do in their conference tournaments. Notre Dame, North Carolina, maybe Duke.
