OSU ran much much better than they have been this weekend and placed 6th at the Great Lakes Regional meet. Torri Brink and Nicole Hilton both earned individual bids to National's the second year in a row the Lady Buckeyes have sent two individuals to Nationals.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State women's cross country team finished sixth overall among 33 teams Saturday at the 2011 NCAA Great Lakes Region Championships at the Ottawa Park Golf Course in Toledo, Ohio.
Leading the way for the Buckeyes was junior Tori Brink, who finished the 6K race 19th out of 227 competitors with a time of 21:08.4. Right behind her was freshman Nicole Hilton who finished 20th in 21:09.3. Senior Jordan Jennewine finished 23rd to round out Buckeye runners in the top 25.
Michigan took the top two spots, with senior Danielle Tauro and junior Rebecca Addison taking 1-2. The Wolverines took home the regional title with an overall score of 45.
