2011-2012 Men's Buckeye Basketball (Final Four Season)

I guess our Buckeyes won't have easy Ed to be around next season and without Battle next season, I think, he would be taking some serious beatings. Probably getting tired of them and probably getting tired of old Joe getting all the publicity in Happy Valley:tongue2:

Re: Duke will play Ohio State in Columbus for the first time in 47 years when the Blue Devils and Buckeyes meet in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday night, Nov. 29, in Value City Arena.

Nice to have the game at the Schott.

I'm sure that the timing is a coincidence, but I do like having Paulus on staff while we prepare for the Dookies.

[strike]Paulus likes being on staff, too. :paranoid:[/strike]

Damn, this sucks. :(

Cincy crying yet again, this time in basketball.
The problem for the Bearcats is that they claim this matchup would "benefit both teams," while in fact it would benefit Cincinnati immensely and Ohio State hardly at all.

Buckeyes are looking for more national exposure, which to a large degree Cincinnati enjoys as a result of their Big East membership. In order to get better nationwide exposure, we play more out-of-state opponents. Makes sense, since the pickings for elite hoop talent are pretty slim in Big Ten country outside of Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana.
