Weak year for the Big Ten? Only 3 ranked teams.
More like an uncertain one. After the obvious excellent teams (tOSU and Wisconsin) it's unclear how the rest of the league will shake out.

Color me dubious about Michigan. At the end of the season I wouldn't be surprised to see Minnesota and Indiana ahead of them, along with Sparty. Manny Harris will be a huge loss for the Vulvarines.

I would have thought given what Izzo has done at MSU they would at least be ranked in the Top 25....
They were lucky to make the tournament last year (and didn't back it up). Lucas is gone and Appling is the only proven commodity in the back court. Will transfer G Wood bring them a boost from Vandy?

Delvon Roe was a huge loss in the post, especially with as soft as Payne was last year, and with Draymond often playing on the perimeter.

Austin Thornton is still going to be logging far more minutes than his skillset allows.

Will a host of freshmen raise MSU's game back to Izzo standards? Or will this be another year mired in mediocrity by their standards?

Tubby is doing a great job in Minnesota, IMO.

They lost their backcourt last year when Joseph transferred and they don't have much coming in this year and with their three point shooter (Hofacre) gone I don't expect much from Minnesota this year so I don't know about the great job that Tubby is doing.

Yeah I'm rooting for Michigan in the sense I hope Burke does well (in all but two games).
I'm rooting for Michigan in the sense that I don't wish their team plane to spiral down to certain doom, ending in a fiery crash.

Beyond that, I have few good wishes for the fucking Wolverines.
