because harbaugh is a m*ch*gan man who would have the chance to resurrect the program and do it under his terms with relative security (because the program is so far in the crapper) .

Agree 1000%. If Harbaugh can bring the talent he does to Stanford, imagine what he could do at Michigan. Harbaugh is the one head coach out there that I absolutely do not want Michigan even considering, because he will turn that program around.

anyone you say?

If one "fan" has his way, Mark may soon be available.

Fire Dantonio - MSU Deserves Better

Although, considering the heavy emphasis on this:

Mark Dantonio is classless to Cousins for doing this all year long. What a sad sign for the Spartan program that the head coach would so obviously disrespect the player-voted team captain like this

Enough is enough, Mark Dantonio. It?s time to fully call you out for your treatment of natural leader and team captain Kirk Cousins.
Each week the depth chart comes out, and Cousins? name is followed by the word ?OR? despite his solid numbers and loyalty to Michigan State.
It?s week 11 of a 12-week season yet Dantonio refuses to let Cousins have his appropriate glory by continuing to list Keith Nichol, a transfer who once rejected the Spartans and again showed his problems with commitment by leaving the Oklahoma program.
Besides this fact, Cousins has clearly outplayed Nichol and deserves the accolades associated with being named the starter

Maybe, after all, the site doesn't reflect the feeling of most Sparty fans. Maybe it's just Kirk's Mom.

Unless, of course, it's from the same people who created these:

We can't leave out this gem:

Edit: Might as well include the video with the play that caused the meltdown.

I remember sitting in the stands that day thinking just before they kicked that field goal that there was a good chance that we could lose at home to MSU (a made field goal would have put them up 20-7 at the half and they would have been up 10 even with a missed one). After that Youboty TD, however, I knew that MSU would implode. That game was totally reversed in the course of about 7 seconds.

I'd trade that game for 1998 in a second.

the levels of stupidity that flow from their fan base continue to astound me
 Yeah, I guess they wouldn't want to hear that Heurman was actively recruting Vannett to tOSU. But buck up scUM fans, I'm sure there's another top-75 DE out there to nab. :slappy:

346725.1.2. Rich Rod's offense
by BlueBarron, 6/30/10 20:49 ET
Re: My gut feeling on UM by BlueBarron, 6/30/10
is eons more exciting than Tressel Ball. Even in a losing season, Michigan football is more fun to watch than tOSU.

losing = fun to watch apparently

346716.5. The big slow guys
by skull59, 6/30/10 16:30 ET
Re: OSU's national image by skull59, 6/30/10
are exactly what UM is trying to move away from, speed kills and we are loading up with the faster more athletic type college football players. Go Blue it's only a matter of time now

hows that workin for them so far  "faster" "more athletic" guys who are low ranked prospects (with low end offer lists to match) Florida/Texas/etc are bringing in top end guys, a far cry from what Richie is doing at scUM

346716.6.1. UM image can't be ruined in a couple of transition years
by skull59, 6/30/10 16:39 ET
Re: OSU's national image by skull59, 6/30/10
A whole bunch of UM doormats would like to pound thier chest, but has nothing to do with the image of UM out west or down south for that matter.

think scUMs image was ruined on this day Appalachian State Mountaineers vs. Michigan Wolverines Box Score, September 1 2007 - NCAA College Football - ESPN and the last few years havent helped anything

smart one....

346714. UM recruiting
by whenindoubt, 6/30/10 15:06 ET
I'm glad we got commitments from those two kids yesterday. But typically, OSU gets a 4 star yesterday, then today they got their 17th commit for 2011, a 4 star TE with offers from everyone. Rich,,please pick up the pace!!

funny.....(and delusional)

46710. Steve Miller OSU possible decommit
by azfootballguuu1, 6/30/10 13:43 ET
Anyone hear the rumors about Steve Miler?Apparently not happy with the amount of DEs that OSU has signed so he is thinking about decommitting and opening up his recruitment. Apparently visiting UM in the near future.

the dog days until football or boring, i guess its just fun to laugh at scUM fans :2004:

and what I posted early about Vannett and Heuerman indicates to me that Michigan fandom has been reduced to hoping that Ohio State commits de-commit and go to Michigan once they realize how much talent Ohio State is stockpiling

I have seriously run out of words to describe what is going on up there so I will try to invent one

346725.1. Rich Rod
by draftexpert78, 6/30/10 20:44 ET
Re: My gut feeling on UM by draftexpert78, 6/30/10
Rich Rod adds more excitement to the Big Ten. Without him the perception of the Big Ten is boring, old school football. The conference needed a little variety. RR brings an added dimension that was sorely needed. Northwestern doesnt count.

3-9 and 5-7 is adding a whole lot, Northwestern "doesnt count" but has gone 9-4 and 8-5 since Rich Rod has taken over Michigan (with a win over Michigan thats 17-9 to 8-16

346725.1.1. In addition
by draftexpert78, 6/30/10 20:48 ET
Re: My gut feeling on UM by draftexpert78, 6/30/10
He recruits well in the south so he brings a different brand of athlete to what is percieved as the slow, plodding, midwestern recruit. RR kind of reminds me of Izzo on the sidelines. I get a kick out of how emotional he is, particularly when he starts going off on his players.

recruiting "well" in the south? mostly plucking 3 star prospects from Florida/Louisiana is not "recruiting the south well", they arent stealing any high end guys from the Florida schools/LSU/Bama/Texas/etc

and comparing rich rod to izzo :slappy:
