2010 TSUN offseason arguments & shenanigans

Gazing into college football's crystal ball and predicting the next decade - ESPN

Predictions for the next decade....

8. Michigan will become relevant again
The Wolverines will return to national prominence -- under current LSU coach Les Miles or Stanford coach (and UM alumnus) Jim Harbaugh. The Wolverines will stick with coach Rich Rodriguez for a couple of more seasons, before eventually pulling the plug on what has been a bad marriage. Rodriguez will return to his native West Virginia, where he'll unsuccessfully run for public office.

1. Leslie Miles isn't returning anybody to prominence. He won with Saban's kids and is currently sinking LSU back to a middle of the pack SEC team. Imagine him taking over DickRod's mess...
2. Harbaugh will never coach at m*ch*g*n.

I want them to win 10 games every year and be crushed by us.

Fuck that. I want to keep seeing them suffer while they continue to be mired in mediocracy and irrelevence. Serves their pompous, arrogant, self-centered asses right. Fuck Michigan.

Hey, Jim Mandich (and Elvis Grbac, Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, etc.), how's that schadenfreude working for ya know? You traitor fucks.

Dan Dierdorf is upset that you didn't include him.

On #2, if the DickRod error is bad enough, say comes with a major infraction from the NCAA, I think there might be enough desperation to have a Bo guy that they'd forgive him saying anything.

Maybe there will be some thawing with a new AD on board, but I've always heard as long as Lloyd Carr is alive, Harbaugh will never be the head coach at m*ch*g*n. It goes beyond the academic calling out a couple years ago...there are deeper issues in the way from what I understand. Same thing with Miles. Though Miles is "coaching" himself out of potential consideration anyway. He's still recruiting very well, but his coaching and clock management blunders are becoming legendary.

5. 3-D TV will become the rage
College football fans will be captivated by much-improved 3-D technology, which will make them feel like part of the action. To almost no one's surprise, Big Ten players will look even slower in 3-D.

Shocker

Your wrong on Harbaugh, but you are correct on Miles. Lloyd does not care who the head coach is at Michigan as long as it is not Miles. Brandon the new AD loves Harbaugh and Harbaugh has told numerous people inside the athletic deparment that he wants to come back. He will be the coach at Michigan if Rich fails.
