2010 TSUN News offseason (football)

'We're going to keep things simple, we're going to let you guys go out and play football just like in high school. You bring the high school element back, a lot of people start having fun again."

Sooooo...tSUN's now theorizing that putting a high school-level football team on the field vs. Big Ten competitors is going to be fun?

Have they confused "simple" with simple-minded?

tSUN's New Defensive Scheme Applies the Rule of K.I.S.S:
Keep It Simple=Stupid!

Don't forget they have a chip on their shoulder as well.

Chip on shoulder + fun = win (at least in the summer when its all just talk).

Well, I agree. Mark it down right now. TSUN are going to surprise a lot of people on defense this year.

Bubba: Hey, Bud! Did you ever think you'd live to see the day that a team like that would beat TSUN by more than three touchdowns?!?

Bud: Hey, Bubba! I never thought I'd live to see the day that happened. Ol' Bo must be spinning in his grave faster than a locomotive wheel. Surprised the hell out of me!

This is mystifying to me.

I know we poke fun at UM, but I always believe that those coaches have forgotten more about football Xs and Os than I could ever hope to know.

This can't be their base defense. It can't be.

This really smacks of: "we just don't have the talent to play anything else."

This can't be right.

We've scored 42 points in the last two Games at home. This year could be the year we break the record 50 points we scored in the 1968 Game.

And the outcome would probably be mercy in disguise for TSUN fans when they fired Rich Rod.
