2010 TSUN News (in-season)

My fear is that if JH says no, DB is going to pull a Martin and go into panic mode and make some crazy hire. Like Hoke.
It's well known that Brandon wants a 'm*ch*g*n man". Hoke, for some reason, fits that in his mind. There's a lot of smoke blowing around that he likes Hoke a lot.

The funny thing is, you can tell my beav's demeanor on gbw he's not too fond of the idea of hairball coming in. If "product rodriguez" leaves, he's probably not going to have the same access to the program he supposedly has now and that's obviously weighing on him. Well that and the fact that they'll never become Oregon with hairball's boring offense, attention to defense, and fundamentals...

Less than encouraging news for scUM on the hairball-front from the beav this morning. Apparently Stanford is ready to ante-up money to match NFL $$ while thus far scUM is not. I don't understand this at all. The football program is, and always will be, the cash cow. Why not pony up the cash for a guy who is THE hot coach, a member of the scUM family and could unite the fanbase after the dickrod debacle? Fucking ponderous if you ask me.

Could DB actually make a decision today??

Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon will meet with embattled coach Rich Rodriguez early this afternoon to discuss his future with the Wolverines football program, according to two people with knowledge of the meetings.
It?s not the only meeting expected today.
Members of the football team will attend a 7 p.m. meeting tonight to learn the fate of their head coach.

Stanford is private, and can afford to throw money around. scUM is a state school, despite thinking it's midwest ivy league, and has to make sure it doesn't piss off the michigan taxpayers, many of whom are struggling paycheck to paycheck. That's why they took dickrod in the first place. They were unwilling to spend on football, so as not to offend the academics and the taxpayers.
