So they are still 50/50 on RR and completely sold on Beilein?

As inept as Rodriguez has been, if the Michigan AD thinks Beilein has done a good job, all I can say is this:

I like what I'm hearing!!!

Honestly, Beilein could build a contender there once they get the renovations done to their basketball facilities and start attracting better players. He is a coach that will adjust his scheme to the talent he has.

Richy is a "I'm gonna do it my way no matter what" type of coach that forces square pegs into round holes because, damn it, that is what he wants to be done and fuck everyone who questions his self-perceived genius.

What I took from that article is that Brandon, in a very nice way, was telling the alumni and fans that it is only a matter of time (money being the key thing with Richy's contract I would imagine) before he sends the hilljack back to his single wide on the side of a hill in West By God.

In my IMO, of course.

Maybe it's due to my lack of study within the Beilein scheme, but I've never known this cat to have any offensive differentiation between Michigan and West Virginia. Now, is that due to him getting the same lower grade level of athlete and having to manipulate the situation for some sort of success, or is that his m.o.? I tend to believe it's the latter. I think he's a decent coach, but he's far from elite and I don't see him taking Michigan to a higher level.

Never said he was elite, I just think he will coach to the strengths he has on the floor, from what I have seem out of him, and eventually get UM back to contending for a NCAA spot. WVU is not a "destination school" for basketball talent by any means, even with Bob "I'll have another shot, please" tHuggins there.

In my IMO he's a lot like RR in the fact he is a dedicated scheme coach and hasn't used the upgrade in school to recruit better players. His offense is predicated on chucking up an inordinate amount of 3's but he hasn't recruited anyone who can shoot. The talent he did inherit was decent but they were athletic wing players who he quickly turned into 3 point chuckers. Maybe its just me but I have seen the exact opposite of a coach willing to change his style to his talent.

He was 9-9 in B10 regular season play the first year, 7-11 last year and this teams is going to be brutally bad. Maybe he will turn it around but in my IMO if that was going to happen you'd see signs of improvement by now, not 3 years of getting worse.

Anyway, to get back on track.....Fuck M*ch*gan!

I disagree. Harris and Sims should have been the best 1-2 punch in conference last year, but instead you get schmucks like Stu Douglass and Zach Novak taking a ton of shots. The fact that he didn't run the offense through Harris and Sims every single possession tells me a whole lot about Beilein.

Kirk Herbstreit: If Michigan makes move, Jim Harbaugh is the guy
The Detroit News

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit said Wednesday on a Miami (Fla.) radio show that if Michigan has an opening for head football coach, he believes Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh is destined for the job.
Harbaugh is a former Michigan quarterback.
Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez, in his third season with the Wolverines, is preparing his 7-4 team to play at Ohio State (10-1), which has won six straight in the rivalry game.

Cont...

"There's been rumors up in here, up in the north that on Monday (Michigan) might make a move, and release Rich Rodriguez. If that happens, within 24 hours Jim Harbaugh will be announced as Michigan coach."

An e!spn "personality" launching a rumor? Must be true. Herbie has about as much credibility as Ryan Seacrest.

Like Bob Stoops hasn't been coaching OSU these past 9 years and Les Miles isn't his nemesis up in AA right?

Hater.
