For those who aren't sure, this post is me weighing in as an Admin, not as just another poster.

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, or I would have said that I don't have a problem with Woof's recent posts in this thread. This is the SEC thread, he has a good track record on BP, and most of us could tell that he was just joking around.

In the future, if you think somebody has made a post that's well out of line, the 'report posts' button (near the rep button in the upper right of each post) could be used to cause a mod/admin to review the post and take action if necessary.

You're certainly free to express your opinion on such a post, but a decision about whether or not another poster should remain on BP is best left up to mods/admins. Because we get the big vBucks to deal with those issues. Ok, that last sentence was a joke.

And to a few others that were backing up Woof - bringing up the topic of reputation probably isn't the best way to do that - having that topic discussed in football forum threads is problematic.

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner - but I have a rather low level of fast-twitch muscle fibers.

I like having good posters that root for other schools on this site. They bring a different perspective. I spend quite a bit of time on the LSU boards. Those coonasses are quite an interesting group and they certainly are passionate about football (and baseball).

Oh, and fuck the SEC!! :biggrin:

Just finished torturing myself by watching bama's spring game.

- bama's last holding penalty? 10 games ago. Only 1 flag thrown in that whole stretch, which was declined. It's stunning how blatantly the zebras protect their bcs hopefuls.

- that offense looks better, especially with a true quarterback waiting in the wings if mcelroy can't keep up this pace. Ingram and Richardson are still filthy.

- the defense is still good but has clearly taken a step back. That was evident despite the refusal to notice by the fanbois in the booth.

- I'm trying to figure out how a stadium that holds 92000 (when folks are crammed in) managed to register 91k in attendance with everyone comfortably spaced for spring game seating. Impressive no doubt, but they must have stockpiled thousands in the storage rooms to get that total.
