2010 SEC Discussion and vBet

Never heard of this happening before. Interesting situation pertaining to a Dawg Recruit.

http://blogs.ajc.com/recruiting/201...y-to-forgo-senior-season-prepare-for-georgia/

LeMay is UGA's Uber QB recruit for the 2011 class. He violated the code of conduct at his private, faith based high school and was forced to submit to at 30 day suspension (family swears its not violence, drug, alcohol related). The suspension would go into effect the last month of the season and he'd miss the playoffs.

So he elected not to play his senior season. Simply work out and use trainers/technique coaches to prepare for College.

I can't ever remember a situation like this...

ahahahahahaha! Tremendous work. Rep for you sir.
Some intelligent comments too from Memphis to Atlanta to New Orleans.
Printing this and posting this on the cubicle of a co-worker immediately.

This topic actually had its own thread on the tOSU football forum yesterday, but feel free to snicker among yourselves over here.

I guess that would leave the possiblilties of something related to academics or sex. Or a combination thereof if he had sex with a teacher.

this hurts the baseball team more in the short term than it does football.

oh and your numbers are wrong
3 juniors
1 freshman

OK. Count the wide receivers who played QB in H.S. but have little chance of developing into an SEC starter, and were not on the depth chart as QBs....

I agree with you on the short term Nutria. Unless one or two of your Junior QBs go down this season...

Personally, I want you to win nine games, compete for the west, lose to Florida, and keep Les there a few more years.

word of advice:
don't rely on Tigerdroppings for any actual info.

if we get to 3rd string, we're screwed, just like pretty much any other team would be.

if y'all lose Brantley, all you got is freshmen to replace him with.

other than the lose to Florida part, i agree.

The Vols are looking to get out of a deal to play at N. Carolina in 2011 (or at least push it back a few years); the deal also had them hosting the Tar Hells in '12. The apparent reason is just to lighten up the schedule, since UT isn't where they thought they'd be as a program.

CBS

In fairness to Tennessee, in the past 10 years they have played these out-of-state non-conference road games:

'01 at ND (win)
'03 at Miami (win)
'05 at ND (loss)
'07 at Cal (loss)
'08 at UCLA (loss)

They aren't scared of anybody. The next decade they travel to Ohio St., Oklahoma, Nebraska, and I think USC.

Mark Richt did an inward facing full back flip off the 10-meter diving board at UGA. It was on College Football Live.

It's not on youtube yet, but I'm sure it will be soon.

Christian LeMay to forgo senior season and prepare for Georgia | AJC College Sports Recruiting

Chris doesn't go to a private faith based high school... he goes to Butler High School, considered to be one of the top 5 teams in the nation and in one of the largest public school districts in the country (Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools).

He got caught having sex with a girl on school grounds, and the girl tried to claim rape. They found evidence that it was not rape and it was consensual, but it was still sexual activity on a school campus and thats an automatic suspension. He could transfer to a private school (He actually visited Charlotte Christian a couple times) where the suspension would have no effect, but they chose not to.
